As legal tender in Armenia, production is subject to the strict requirements of the Central Bank: the purity of the precious metal, weight and quality of the coinage are state-tested and guaranteed. The gold bullion coin is made from the purest gold (999.9/1000).

The motif on the reverse of the coin contains the name of the ship ‘Noah’s Ark’ embossed in the middle in Armenian and English. In the foreground of the motif the dove flies with an olive branch in its beak. In the background there is also the rising sun behind the mountain silhouette of the imposing Ararat Mountains.

All raw materials used in the production of these gold and silver coins come exclusively from manufacturers certified and approved according to the standards of the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA).
Every single coin is manufactured in a complex process from the granulate to the finished product by Leipziger Edelmetallverfahren GmbH and is subject to strict quality control.
